She was raised by her grandparents who resided in Concord California. She had always dreamed of being a professional soccer player in her youth, an injury to her ankle in 2002 in her senior year in highschool prevented that from happening. In Pleasant Hill, CA she graduated with an associates degree in art, and later recovered to continue as a striking player at Diablo Valley College. She was named Junior College All-American and transferred to Arizona State University, where she ceased playing soccer because of doubts about herself. Following this, she joined California State University Fullerton and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and a minor in human resource management. She moved into Los Angeles after completing her studies in order to pursue a modeling or acting career. Then she stumbled upon the call to audition for W.W.E. The talent scouts were enthralled by her and she received an audition for four weeks. After that, she relocated to Orlando, Florida. There she started her training at an organization called the Performance Center of the company. Total Divas W.W.E is a T.V. reality show starring the Total Divas W.W.E. show. Then she colored her hair red and donned the ring name Eva Marie. W.W.E. After many trials and mishaps, she ultimately ended her contract with the company.
